Born In Minnesota on October 3rd 1938, Eddie Cochran was an American Rock and Roll Pioneer.  Although his career wascut short by his tragic death in 1960 at just 21 years old, Cochran had already made an impact and has had a lasting influence on Rock music.  Songs such as C'mon Everybody, Somethin' Else and Summertime Blues captured frustration and desire of teenagers in the 50's and 60's.

His songs have been covered by bands such as Led Zeppelin, Rush, UFO, Sex Pistols and The Beatles (to name just a few) and in 1987 he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
